TOWER OF PRAISE & WORSHIP CENTRE

OUR HISTORY

 

Tower of Praise & Worship Centre (TPWC) was birthed by the Love Lives Predestined Ministries an end time Glory Carriers Evangelistic Army. The legal name of this congregation of believers shall be Love Live Predestined Church- Tower of Praise & Worship Centre. This body of believers exists for the purpose of restoring hope in the  lives of people, winning the lost souls and contributing towards community transformation and restoring hope in the lives of  the hopeless, assimilating them into the church through baptism, and teaching them to put into  practice the teachings of the Bible (Matthew 28:19-20). We are to be committed to this mission in our community and in our World until our Lord returns (Acts 1:6-8). The church accomplishes this mission as each believer is committed to serving in the church (Ephesians 4:11-16), living godly in the world (Titus 2:11-12), and sharing Christ with unbelievers (II Corinthians 4:1-16).

 

VISION OF THE CHURCH

Communities transformed and souls saved through preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and

Preparing God’s people for the coming back of Jesus Christ. Revelation 22:12

 

MISSION OF THE CHURCH

Tower of Praise & Worship Center Church exists for the purpose of reaching the unreached with the life saving and miracle working Gospel of Jesus Christ  and restoring hope to the hopeless and teaching God’s people His divine principles such that their lives will be fully transformed. John 10:10

 

CHURCH MOTTO

The heart beat of God is souls (I Tim 2:3-4). Every single soul counts greatly before the Lord (II Peter 3:5).

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE CHURCH

1. Preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
2. Establishing churches in those areas where they don’t exist.
3. Holding conferences and seminars in order to equip the youth with life/positive living skills.
4. Holding radio and television programs in order to educate the people.
5. Helping orphans, street children and the needy persons.

 

BASIC CHURCH PROGRAMS

Six programs, common in TPWC, have a primary task in the church. Each program develops its organization and seeks to involve the congregation in its work. These organizations are the foundation of the church structure, and thus are called basic church programs.

Each one interprets and undergirds the local church and the denomination.

BIBLE TEACHING

• Reach persons of all ages for Bible study

• Teach the Bible as the life-changing Word of God

• Witness to persons about Christ and church membership

• Minister to persons in need in the church and community

DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING

• Reach persons for discipleship training

• Orient new members for discipleship, personal and family ministry

• Equip church members for discipleship, personal and family ministry

• Teach theology, doctrine, ethics, history and church polity

• Train church leaders for their tasks

MUSIC MINISTRY

• Provide musical experiences in worship services

• Provide church music education for all ages

• Lead the church to witness and minister through music

• Assist church programs in use of and support with music

MEN’S MINISTRY/BROTHERHOOD

• Engage men and boys in mission activities

• Teach, pray for and give to missions

• Develop personal ministry for men and boys

• Provide opportunities for fellowship for men and boys

WOMEN’S MINISTRY/WOMAN’S MISSIONARY UNION

• Engage women and girls in mission activities

• Teach, pray for and give to missions

• Develop personal ministry for women and girls

• Provide opportunities for fellowship for women and girls

PASTORAL MINISTRIES (Pastoral staff and deacons)

• Lead the church to accomplish its mission

• Proclaim the gospel to believers and unbelievers

• Care for church members and persons in the community

• Provide servant leadership for the total church ministry
